About the Event
Are you looking for a unique and exciting way to spend your day? Do you want to try out new sports, fitness and leisure activities, meet people in your community, and be part of a really enjoyable, local experience?
If so, you won't want to miss the Kidbrooke Village Sports and Fun Day!
This is a free event for everyone who loves sports, fitness or just having non-competitive fun. Whatever your age, experience or level of ability this inclusive day has something for everyone.
You can choose from a variety of activities, such as:
- Team Sports Event at Sutcliffe Park Athletic Track including 100m Sprint, Relay, Javelin, and some old time favourites such as Egg n Spoon and Hula-Hoop! (only this event requires registration)
- Multi-Sport competition in the MUGA, including Football, Tennis, Basketball and Cricket
- Senior's Exercise, Music, Bingo, Afternoon Tea and Walking Group
- Family-Friendly activities including Park Workout, Treasure Hunt, Arts & Crafts and Games
- After-School Challenge for under 18's!
- Closing Ceremony and Dance-A-Thon

You can also enjoy some delicious street food and drinks from local vendors in Pegler Square, watch the first ever performance from Elite Dance Academy's 'Kidbrooke Kollective', and be part of the Closing Ceremony where the competition winners will receive their medals from The Mayor of Royal Borough of Greenwich.
The event will take place on Thursday 21st September between 10am and 8pm at various venues across Kidbrooke Village. See agenda for full timetable, locations and requirements.
To take part in the Team Sports Event at Sutcliffe Park Athletics Track please register for a 'Participant' ticket. Spectators are also welcome and should register for a 'Spectators' ticket.
Would you like to be a Volunteer Event Steward on the day? You can also register for this. You'll be briefed on your role, by supported by a location supervisor and have a vital role to play in the success of the day.
